About ME

I'm Nick Middaugh—husband, father of three, fully independent advocate, and a proud survivor of child sexual abuse (CSA).

After a decade in civil service (firefighting, corrections, public safety, and federal contracting), I turned my pain into purpose. I self-published Suffering in Silence, speak openly about male trauma, and write at Character Is Destiny on Substack.

I’ve worked with non-profits on a local, national, and international level to provide survivor-informed perspectives on child-on-child sexual abuse (COCSA) and male specific CSA more broadly.

My mission is simple: break the stigma, end the silence, and help men heal. If you're struggling, you're not alone.
